A small tool I built to make job searching less painful

I’ve been helping a few friends with job hunting lately, and one thing kept coming up:
most job boards feel noisy, repetitive, and kind of overwhelming.
So I ended up building a small side project called LinkJob.ai — mainly to solve my own problem.
The idea is simple: instead of endlessly scrolling job boards, you give it what you’re looking for, and it helps surface more relevant job links in one place. No spammy listings, no unnecessary fluff.
What I personally use it for:
Quickly scanning roles that actually match my background
Saving time by avoiding duplicate or low-quality postings
Keeping job links organized instead of scattered everywhere
It’s still a work in progress and definitely not trying to replace every job platform out there. It’s just a quieter, more focused way to look at opportunities.
Not promoting anything — just sharing something I built and found useful myself.

A simple AI tool I’ve been using to turn text into videos

I’ve been looking for an easy way to turn written ideas into short videos for demos and explanations. Tried a few tools — some were too complex, others felt very templated.

Recently I tried MakeShot.ai, and it’s been surprisingly useful. You just write some text and it generates a video. No software to install, no editing skills needed — everything runs in the browser.

I’ve mainly used it for quick demos and product showcases. It’s not flashy, but it saves time and does what I need.

Not an ad — just sharing something that worked for me.

I’ve been experimenting with different AI tools lately and came across something I found pretty interesting: Textideo (https://textideo.com
).

The core idea is simple — turn text into images or videos. What I find useful isn’t so much making final polished content, but quickly visualizing ideas. When I’m brainstorming, outlining content, or sketching out a video concept, it’s nice to see how an abstract idea might look on screen without opening heavy editing software.

I’ve mainly been using it to:

create quick visual drafts for ideas

generate placeholder visuals for content or tutorials

experiment with different visual styles at a very low cost

Obviously, AI-generated content still needs human judgment and refinement, but as a bridge between ideas and visuals, it’s been a real time-saver.

Curious if anyone else here is using similar AI video or image tools — and what you’re using them for.
