My husband had a mild stroke back in March of this year. When he was discharged I began giving him 1 teaspoon of DMSO orally in juice daily. After just a couple of doses there was no deficit present in him. DMSO was approved last year in America, but has been in use worldwide since the 1800's. Pharmaceutical grade DMSO is available at Amazon.com. I use the low odor variety. DMSO also works well topically for pain. Use 50/50 mix with distilled water for topical use. If it is tolerated without itching the strength can be increased.
