Frustration can set in when we don’t see the fruits of our labor. It can seem like the work we put into helping others and improving ourselves has amounted to nothing. Especially in those moments where there’s a regression back to square one.

But remember something important: progress is the end goal, not perfection. And progress is often an arduous, winding road that at times seems like it’s leading you backwards or to a completely different destination. But take heart. Eventually, the road will level out and straighten, and the end goal will appear clearly on the horizon. Keep going. God is our navigator, and He doesn’t make mistakes. So don’t be anxious about anything.
