Idk the exact quote but he said that basically in the beginning God made a specific promise to Adam.
God promised Adam that he was giving Adam and his seed this planet.
God did not condition it.
Period.
No conditions, at that time no mention of if you do or dont sin just it is yours period.

People will come back with all manner of 'the Bible's been changed' arguments to justify extraordinary imaginative takes on what various 'lost and banned books of the Bible' say based on the flimsiest understanding of the actual scholarship that has been poured into this most extraordinary book of all time over MILLENNIA.
And yet it stands STILL .... at the very center of the history of man's relationship to God, it's moral teachings, and prophetic accomplishments.
