I'm a big advocate of more in-stream phyto-remedeation actions because in many locations the overregulation of point source dischargers is producing a higher water quality than the receiving stream which remains largely inundated by orders of magnitude of agricultural discharges which are exempt from the Clean Water Act.

Agree. from backyard self sufficiency, to larger scale projects ethically managed, all water and all nutrients can be put to beneficial use.
