Here in TN we have 100's of 1000's of ppl that live an hour or more from the work place in cities like Nashville that require a rather long morning drive some up to 2 hours one way per day.
How damn long are they even going to be able to afford to GO to work with Gas getting as high as 9$ per gallon is blue states and 5$ per gallon here?

At some point the fuel prices could cause an economic cascading domino effect.
In US Diesel fuel is used to deliver most of the goods including fuel. It is a component of the cost of everything including non-diesel fuel. It is my understanding that many municipal water filtration systems depend on diesel trucks to deliver and haul away.
Many are saying to have 2 weeks to a months worth of water and food for those in your families. Many canned goods packed in water can help be a part of your water need.

Nana has also been reading up on the new machines that pull water literally from the air. I really hate to buy with when I know that new technology will start rolling out once we get past this like dominos tho. the cheapest one that I have see so far is about 2k.
So families might go together for one. I think that one makes a few gallons per day.
Here in TN maybe more with our high humidity levels.

Yes but I have heard some talk about the water plants are dependent on truckers for maintaining the water supply running, plus I have pay them every month and unless we win soon [they] will probably find a way to keep poisoning us thro the water that will bypass all the water filters. I just like the idea of water from air I guess

I have wondered lately too if boiling water will make tap water safe.
You know they used to tell us that it does but they have lied about everything else.
What you think @mac

It works unless there is fluoride. boiling water with fluoride increases it's content. 🧐

Can you rig a rainwater collection barrel?
Then run that through a ceramic filter or boil or both?
I have this system for emergencies, we do get a LOT of rain here so it makes sense.
If you dont get much rain you could rig some cloud catchers.

Clay filters will aid the deflourination of water.
These ceramic filters cost about ten dollars and each will filter 10000 litres of water.
You can also use a ceramic plant pot (unglazed) to do the same.
Make sure you plug any holes in the pot.
No pots available?
You can literally make these clay pots from the clay in dirt in the ground, separate the clay from the soil using any available water.
Fire the pots in a makeshift kiln and you can have unlimited water filtration.
So in essence you can filter water using dirt.

I have check into this too but then recently I saw the new machines that make gallons of water per day from the air.
🤔If I am gonna spend the money for a solution that seems at the moment to be the best option but they are a bit pricey!
I have held off on several things lately because I feel sure that we are about to see a lot of new technology emerge and I really dont have a lot of money to waste.

Buy a few cheap ceramic filters, drill a small hole in a plastic bucket, fix the filter into the hole, collect the cleam water below in a food grade container.
Type in Cheap homemade berkey filter into youtube and click on one that uses the white plastic buckets.
