The term “plausible deniability” refers to the ability of an individual to deny knowing about something nefarious because there is no proof to the contrary. For example, plausible deniability can protect people who were either personally involved or willfully disregarded something illegal or unethical if there is no evidence showing they knew about it.

Unlike Bitcoin, where every coin has a serial number, every XMR (the native token of Monero) is fungible, which means they are completely identical and interchangeable with each other. The network also gives every transaction plausible deniability through ring signatures, an encryption technique that creates multiple decoys for actions on the network.

The excuse doesn't fly. No Security.
