I know the next solar eclipse will happen, that doesn't mean I had any part in causing it.

Pandemics are a naturally occuring thing, and our world with global travel, overuse of antibiotics, farming animals horribly unsanitary conditions and looking the other way when it comes to the large parts of the world who still have shitty infrastructure and limited access to safe drinking water, sanitary and hygienic care is a breeding ground for disease.

It doesn't require a helping hand for a new disease to arise, because all the conditions are met already.
