Chino and her Ketsuryūgan

Her story is tragic and it sharply highlights the plight of trafficked children. Rich wealthy elites pay to watch these captured children fight each other inside a dome.

They killed off Chino's entire bloodline leaving her as the last surviving member of her clan in order to make her ability rare and highly sought after. She was stolen as an infant, she knew only captivity. Note how her abilities are all blood related. At the end of this Chino saga, Sasuke sets all of these trafficked slave fighters free and then he captures/arrests the elites attending the fights in the dome.

i remember that of all the genres
in college curriculum literature,
japanese literature was the most poignant
... not sure am remembering correctly but re the stories,
they were more interested in being more than becoming?

ty for the little vignette🌿
