President Trump said to get the vaccine but I don't recall him saying which vaccine to get. But then what is a "vaccine"?
Vaccines are a type of prophylactic, a preventative. When we think of vaccines what comes to mind is the type that introduces antigens into a person’s body in order to provoke an immune response.
But a vaccine can be something that does not use antigens but instead prevents infection via other means. A prime example is the combination of HCQ and Zinc (This is what Trump took). Zinc is the primary ingredient in this cocktail, not HCQ. Getting sufficient zinc into a cell will stop the ribosome in the cell from reproducing the parts needed to make a virus should the cell become infected. This is where HCQ comes in. It is a zinc ionophore and helps zinc get through the lipid layer that is part of the cell membrane.
