Ezekiel 11:12-25 (paraphrased)
The Lord says we have not walked in his statutes, neither executed his judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are around us. He has cast them far off among the heathen and scatter them among the countries, yet he will be to them a sanctuary. That they may walk in his statutes and keep his ordinances and they shall be his people and he will be their God. As for those whose hearts walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, he will recompense their way upon their own heads.
