Hello Julie,

The national registration system that we use to register Births, Deaths and Marriages and produce copy certificates is experiencing operational difficulties.

This is nation-wide issue and we are working with our partners and other originations to get it fixed.

As such, we are having to complete registrations manually and will capture the information on the computer at a later time when we are able to access the system.

This significantly impacts both our appointments and our ability to process timely certificates.

If you are contacting us regarding copy certificates that you have yet to receive we apologise for the delay.

We assure you that our team is working as hard and as quickly as they can under significant pressure and we apologise that this is impacting the service we are able to provide to you.
