I was going through memories of what I've kept from when my Adult Children were in school. My daughter Whitney (30) was in middle school at the time she made a "Poem Journal". This is one of them. There is no author listed but I believe she picked (?) this due to Justin, (my son that passed away before she was born).

Angel Kisses
When the rain falls
It's like heavens crying.
It's something magical,
That you'd never want to miss.
The reason is because of this;
All the angels come out
And pour buckets if tears.
They are flying outside,
With their angelic wings.
The buckets keep flowing,
They keep going and going.
Then the rain stops.
And the angels come down.
And they watch over us,
Like a shepherd and his flock.
And they'll never let us go.
And we never let them go.
I so badly want to see him,
I so badly want to be an angel.
But I know it's not my time.
And I never got to see him.
I know he never meant to leave me.
But I know he's safe by God's side.
