Sorry this is not new folks, the government has been paying farmers for years not to plant crops, Wheat, Soy, Cotton etc. Have Family members (Farmers) in Mississippi that have been paid not to plant crops.

And now other countries and companies contract our farmers to grow crops and send them all the food produced, no matter how much that may be. It's a sweet deal. Getting paid no matter how much is produced? I guess it beats doing the "destroyed" crop for insurance deal they were doing. Don't get me wrong bc getting .09 a pound for potatoes and less for cabbage doesn't sound like a good deal either.. screw or be screwed. And since you can't sell directly to the public....on and on too many rules.

You are sorry right! My dad use to have a farm in the 70's & 80's. Fields and dairy. Then comes the mid 80's, government strips many of the Iowa farms from producing and the banks swoop in and foreclose on so many. Remember Willie Nelson's Farm Aid? My dad lost everything! That was when I woke to government and banking being so corrupt,

Im pretty sure State Of Oregon Beureau of Land Managemet was infiltrated years ago..all our Envirememtal gov agencies that control our lakes and rivers, forests-all state owned land. It started with the Spotted Owl...shut down logging and destroyed the industry and many families-the state got federal funds to send all the loggers and log truck drivers ‘back to school to get re-educated..didnt work. That was 20 yrs ago. Currently its the Spotted Frog: apparently they are rare-just like the Owl. So they released all of our water into the rivers all at once for 2 years in a row now;( since the Rona and lock downs) Farmers dont have any water to plant crops... Honestly-I just put that together in my head. Interesting they used an OWL the ffirst time....
