Started The Passion of the Christ again tonight for the first time in a long time. I know how many felt the relationship of Christ to his sufferings, to his pain, to the tortures he endured. But I as always the loving father of many...could never quite separate myself from the Sufferings of his mother Mary. I can't grasp the pains of watching with utter helplessness as her beloved child was tortured, beaten, flayed, and crucified right before her very eyes and completely unable to alter that happening to her child. I of course should have posted this on Mother's day...but emotions kept it from happening...forgive me.
