St. Leo's Catholic church in Philadelphia was gutted by fire yesterday afternoon. Today the wrecking ball came out due to safety so an investigation can take place. That's all well and good, but I screen shot this part because they took the cross down first. Only the cross. Why not just start right under it? Just seemed odd to me. News reports said it was purchased by a developer last month.
My first thought yesterday was who had what to gain from a fire?🤔
