As difficult as this sounds, we do need to take responsibility for not having been fully engaged, thus we allowed them to creep into our communities. We need to be proactive and learn who is running for office, starting with the baby sitters and the PTA, know the school system, the teachers, the principals ... they are setting the stage. Once you have your community mastered it will spread over all the localities.

We don't know who is alive / dead until we know. We've been told many things, and we are hopeful. But hopeful is not actually doing the valid work of responsibility.
