i've been told that all of these things on south park and the simpsons, etc are their way of letting us know what they are doing - something to do with how their beliefs dictate that in order to avoid karmic repercussions or something like this - they have to publicize it. but i have no idea and i feel like i'm completely braindead this morning so not sure what i wrote is even making sense
