I haven't figured out what the Supreme Court "conference" is, but I don't have high hopes. Seems like a way to kick it down the road and not accomplish anything. I think all it does, is like Juan says, is to satisfy the last remaining court possibility. Im sure if the military really is an option, that they wouldn't want to get involved until EVERY last court option is exhausted.
