Donald J. Trump is calling on Mexico to fix what he calls a “raw sewage” crisis — demanding they stop sewage runoff flowing across the border “IMMEDIATELY” to protect Americans in border states.
He says the untreated sewage from places like Tijuana River has created a health and environmental hazard for people in Texas, California, and beyond — and that Mexico must take responsibility now.

This comes as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Lee Zeldin points to a recent agreement signed with Mexico (a 2025 MOU) that sets deadlines for wastewater-infrastructure fixes on the Mexico side.
Many local California communities — including beach towns and even military zones used by United States Navy SEALs — are reportedly suffering from foul odors, polluted water, and closures tied to the sewage contamination.

✅ Trump says enough is enough and wants accountability and immediate action — no more delays.
