experience last year during
Hurricane Relief for
Asheville in North Caroline,
where we collected
11 pallets in the community of
Rapid City, South Dakota….
A young man who served at
Guantanamo Bay.
He had just come out of
REHAB for the alcohol
a fifth time
when I met him last year.
His mother was my massage therapist.
After the second time meeting him….
as a veteran who knows
how hard it can be,
told his mom Sarah…
He will be okay.
Preston committed suicide.
A mother lost her son to this
denial many cannot fathom.
Please respect the way I handle what
I know to be true.
Get on an airplane today…
Book a hotel in Rapid City.
I will introduce you to a
mother who her son served at
Guantanamo Bay, then became
a severe alcoholic.
Last words his mother said to me
was
at least the military gave
him a honorable discharge.
