The ones on SNAP benefits for generations are finding that out. In my experience, they need dollars and not food. Did they sell their EBT cards? Where I worked, the employees ordered out for food. It was often delivered. I brought my lunch every day. I was making more and got a salary. I couldn't afford to eat out. How do they afford it?

I wonder about their choices and thought processes. One girl told me she hadn't eaten in two days, but her nails and hair were done.

You're right, it is generational. It's not only a certain race, either. It was depressing, and I wondered if these people even had a deeper soul or if they had lost a chip in their brain somewhere. Taking care of their welfare was everyone else's problem, but not theirs.
