18 hours and we still have no power or water, but I cooked a dinner of chicken, charro beans, and biscuits on the charcoal grill, and we ate by the light of an old oil lamp. It reminded me of the olden days of when I was a young girl, and would sit around the oil lamp with my grandma💕
The only thing missing is a source of heat since our house is all electric and no fireplace.

Thank you, friend. It's currently 7° and expected to get down to -10° later tonight and we have more ice and snow on the way. I think we'll be ok. 🙏
