I'm not sure what was stranger: 1) couples and parents, some carrying children on their shoulders, arrive on the scene like they're going to an "arts in the park" or fall festival; 2) those same people circulating in and out of the fire station in a general circle; why would you continue to just hang out there? Wouldn't you try to get as far away from the school as possible? Why would you BRING children along??

Finally, there's the weird Gene Rosen, in his blue coat, who claimed children just showed up on his lawn, among other strange things.
