have felt exact same! Youngest daughter called upset about it and told me she didn't understand why she wasn't distraught as she felt she should be (as she loved and followed him)...told her it was strange, but I wasn't upset the way I expected to be either..as if perhaps this was one of those 'you are watching a movie' and 'central casting' moments.

your thoughts are valued.. i am looking at it from a different prospective. charlie was important. he changed the lives of thousands of those brainwashed kids. they saw it. they loved him. and yes he was a threat to the left. i have a feeling he was going to be taken out soon. historicaly this has happened before. JFK? JFK jr? all knew they were going to be taken down. so what did they do> planned their own take down. they knew what it meant. it was the only safe way. i do believe we just saw a repeat. and yes we have to go thru the same pain we experienced with the kennedys. because it would have been true. he cannot do his work now but the gist of his words and action lingers even stronger and to benefit the future of the masses.
