NJ wildfire prompts thousands of ordered evacuations as it explodes in size, closes part of Garden State Parkway
As of Tuesday afternoon, the Jones Road Fire burning near Barnegat, New Jersey had consumed 1,200 acres and was uncontrolled. Part of the Garden State Parkway is closed near Waretown.

Jones Road Fire in NJ has almost reached the coastline. This building is just inside the fire perimeter according to the maps but I'll bet you anything it won't burn. 🔷
