Just a thought, Mike:
I remember my church had a bell tower and every Sunday and holy day, for every mass, someone would pull the rope to ring the bell.
There was a church in a nearby town that rang their bell every day at noon.
It was wonderful, although it was a busy little town, there was a slight pause as everyone took notice before they went on with their business.
I've also noticed how modern places of worship have no bell towers.
I feel that the 'new architecture' has bothered me.

I remember all of that too.

No more church bells anymore.

Bells heal, and drive away demons, hence their removal.

A healthy society with no presence of evil doesn't serve their agenda.
