I thought he was going to lead into shapeshifting with the clever switching back and forth but toward the end that led somewhere else. IMHO, I think where everyone is trying to conclude one country behind all this mess is a diversion; it is a global network and that country may have had the best technology or surveillance abilities and that is why it is always being pointed to but the conspiracy part is probably more complex.
