With all of the arguing and Divisiveness going on, I think it is important to ask the question; when was the last time you completely changed your mind about a solidly held belief in someone or some thing? I can remember myself when I discovered the truth about George Bush and family, I was beside myself and refused to accept it, but I did look into it and found that I had been wrong in my thinking and opinion. This change of thought led me to question so many other beliefs. It was hard and painful, but was necessary to my growth. My question, for those brave enough to answer is what was the last thing that you had a complete reversal of thought on? If you cannot think of anything, I would say, hmmm interesting, is that because you refuse to accept that you have been wrong for years about something, or is it because you are always right about everything?

Many; including myself have succumbed to cognitive dissonance.
