I hope something is done soon. I owe IRS from last year I am still fighting, and this year is bound to be even worse.
My husband is retired, I am disabled, and our health is not the best. I also have an elderly friend who lives with us who is on disability, and over the last 3 SSI increases they reduced her food stamps down to zero.
Our daughter and her son also live with us. None of us can afford to live in a single family home.
Electric bill this month $689, and I cook with gas, heat with fuel oil and wood fireplace, and I have never owned a dryer, I hang clothes outside year round.
Somebody do something. If this drags on much longer I am going to have to sell this house, and move into our emergenmcy tent in the woods.
