Predictive programming. I came across this movie from 2006, where a Bird Flu originates in China, & spreads to the world bia air travel. They contemplate shutting down air travel, but realize it’s too late. There’s even a governor Newsom in the movie. Newsom wasn’t elected until 2018.

It was all planned, but we knew that already.
