My husband complains about hearing loss. I keep telling him to stop taking those poison snake venom pills. He doesn't believe me and keeps taking them. They also stop sexual function. Now I know why his hearing/sexual function are bad. Thanks for posting this.

15 years ago my Dr told me that I needed statins… I took them for one month and told my Dr I refuse to take them any longer… they were making body ache all over !!

My 81 year old mom had been on statins for over 20 years… and over the years her memory has gotten worse and worse… I told the Dr that I wanted her OFF the statins immediately 4 weeks ago… ( I have POA for her) still waiting to see if it helps with her memory!!!

Best thing I ever did was quit taking my cholest. meds a year ago. Within a couple weeks my memory & brain fog issues went away. I got my balance back, and lots of other stuff got better too. I used to have to use cane (& often walker), I haven't used those since then too. In that years time, my cholest level remains exactly the same: borderline.
