I was just saying that to a friend. I have at least two family members that will remain outspoken and on the wrong side of things, willing to punish everyone with their words. They are probably conjuring up ways to force everyone into some weird compliance, like making a broccoli pie, stuffing the turkey with tofu, and adding RoundUp to the salad dressing (which will already be on the salad). Reality is harder on some than others.

Yep, you can see it bubbling, like a little piece of bait, and it always blows.
My charmer (control freak aunt) one year, sweetly came into the family room, asked who all wants salad. An hour later, it was announced, a new holiday tradition, sitting at the big table, every other place a salad eater, every other a non-salad eater. My sons, who had flown in from out of state, decided to eat the weird salad she made just so we could all sit together for Christmas (looked like weeds, seriously, no choice of dressing either, already soggy dressed). My sons then put their heads together… yes, another meal, invited all the same family a few days later. Full salad bar with real ingredients, using every bowl and spoon in the house for the set up, all the fixings (plus bacon, fried and chopped). A kings spread, four pound meatloaf, potatoes, corn casserole, a salad bar with five choices of dressing, fresh bread, & peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. Nothing but love and freedom 😇❤️🔥
