Hello friends.
A few days ago I asked for prayers for my family when my Mom died. It helped so much, and that is why I am back. My kitty died suddenly last night and we are feeling distraught at these turn of events. It is almost too much to bear. I come here because you are my family and I love you so much

My gosh, EM, HANG IN THERE. 🙏
When it rains it pours for true, but the storm will pass & sunny days will return.
So sorry to hear of your recent losses. My sincere condolences.
I'll tell you a story. When a young man in my 20's I lost one retriever to cancer. Buried him under a lofty pine tree in the wilderness. Then a few years later, lost another - my golden lab, hit by a car. Buried her next to him under the same pine tree. Then finally, many years later, her pup - my third dog, finally passed on, a full sized shepherd-lab mix who accompanied me everywhere, riding in my 4x4 & on all my adventures. She lived to be 17 - so old for a big dog, even my veterinarian cried.
I took her to that same ol' tree & as I buried her a golden flash of light darted through the trees. I knew it was her Momma coming to get her. They got eternal souls, too. That's why they love us so much I think.
Bet she's keeping your Mom company.💕
😺 Heaven is for them, too!
Love is forever.

Such awesome frens, and there are kittens out there that need you & are meant for you, whenever you are ready, of course. Be proud you gave her such a good life. We have 9, and they're trained to come in at night! (when dang coyotes lurk.)
Lil' buddy guards. That's what kittens are. They can see things we can't. I hear they are 5th dimensional and that if they're content, no invisible evil is anywhere near. Better than Secret Service, I say.
Reminds me of a Quote, by Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper, foremost firearms trainer that ever lived IMO. He says about feline frens:
"Observe your cat. It is difficult to surprise him. Why? Naturally his superior hearing is part of the answer, but not all of it. He moves well, using his senses fully. He is not preoccupied with irrelevancies. He's not thinking about his job or his image or his income tax. He is putting first things first, principally his physical security. Do likewise."
Everyone should be cat.
