I’m one of those people. Was setting up a meeting at a hotel that had #MeToo signs. As I never watch the news I hadn’t heard of the movement. I was reading pound me too. And wondering what the F is that. lol took me about 5 minutes to realize I had to read it as hashtag. I’m definitely from the pound sign generation. Like on telephones. Do people now say hit hashtag to end the call.? No I think I’ve still hear recordings say pound sign.
