I have a copy of the constitution, written in printed type. not cursive, that is almost 40 years old.
Plus - even if you can read cursive, I think the constitution was written in a cursive manner that isn't a while lot like modern cursive.
Plus my grandson learned cursive a couple of years ago.
At any rate, I do believe that "they" stopped teaching cursive in some areas.

I think I was the last Generation to learn it. I remember practicing it in elementary school, then by junior high it was gone.
