Well. That was exciting.
Our local rural area, and extending out even farther, was without cell phone and internet/cable for 2 days! Electric was fine, it was all communications were down.
We have lost internet before, but not internet and phone. We've lost electric and phone and internet, but not internet and phone.
Let me tell you...with no way to connect to the outside world, you suddenly feel like you're in a glass jar looking out, banging on the jar to be seen and heard, and nothing but silence...weird feeling.
I was happy with it overall - but I did wonder if this was the 10 days of darkness starting...I mean internet AND cell was out, with no explanation, for 2 days... My adult kids were a bit hampered and bored and struggling without internet or cell phones. Me, I loved it :)
Anyone else lose connection without any reason given?
