I also believe that many that suffer with these conditions may have something called an MTHFR Gene Mutation (aka snp). My daughter and I both have multiple of these gene mutations that also cause a multitude of health issues. BUT...simple vitamin supplementation can really be beneficial and help with many of the symptoms.
