Exactly. Petroleum engineers declared oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico "empty", but a few years later were pumping oil again. Newly deceased dinosaurs? Bwahahaha! "Peak oil". hmph.
Ask yourself, what kind of tectonic actions could account for surface oil in U.S. @ 1910, shallow and deep oil in Saudi Arabia, tar pits in California (legit fossils, but they didn't turn into crude oil)?
