Never did the George Orson Welles dig. Very interesting, especially, "The Federal Theatre Project was the ideal environment in which Welles could develop his art."
We've seen what the federal projects of that era were up to - destruction of remains of ancient Tartarian America, scary airport drawings, reshaping minds via Hollywood (have even caught a few cross-dressers masquereding as women in 30's films). Some of Mickey Rooney's films, it's crazy if you love 30's films and start noticing things.
