Such a beautiful place! My husbandβs uncle βs family through marriage) live and own businesses on the island. His great great great (not sure how many greats) was the first lighthouse keeper and is buried on the island. They are Chippewas. Weβve been twice (once in a rental home and once at Mission Point Hotel. Both great experiences! Fun for people of any age! Grand Hotel and the Fort are great, also fun butterfly museum for kids as well as putt golf and riding bikes around the island to various picture spots.
