OMG. Reading this post reminded me of an ad I saw years ago about transforming the ashes of your loved ones into diamonds. What a nice way to memorialize your loved one, right? A simple internet search gave me the following link (and others) of services that do just that. It is totally feasible that diamonds could be the ashes of children who work in the mines. I look at my small engagement ring and now wonder. I feel sick.
