Why do people insist on dragging 'the Bible' into various 'new age' narratives?

Sorry but there's just no such phrase as 'the end of time' in the Bible.

"the last days"
"in that day"
"that day"
"the day of the Lord"

yes ... but not 'end of time'
Very specifically two different ideas.

And further Wiki says the yugas in question are 432,000 years in duration.

Quite a tad longer than the 6000 years of earth age/history according to the Bible.

Nor is their any such Biblical notion as a 7th golden age of enlightenment

Just isn't.

Let the non Biblical new age teachings stand on their own. Why always lean on 'the Bible' for support but then cherry pick and choose what part to lean on?
