Durham’s request to gain access apparently was rejected twice by a federal judge, so he used grand jury powers instead to get direct access to the emails.
NYT journalist: “Every single person I’ve put that to was like, ‘I have never heard of that before. That’s extraordinary.’”
Whatever was in those emails, Durham was going to “extraordinary” lengths to get it. Something tells me this isn’t the last we’ll hear about them…
