I once was at a salon in Dubai owned by a local lady. She walked in and in seconds threw off her Abaya and head covering in irritation. Covering themselves from head to toe in black over regular clothes in the peak summer heat and then to enter 'women only areas' and remove the outer black clothes was freedom. I just felt happy to see her face and being herself in jeans and a shirt.
