A federal appeals court panel appears unlikely to rescue a former Fox News reporter facing fines — and potentially jail time — for refusing to identify her source for a series of stories about a woman with ties to the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

The case involving reporter Catherine Herridge could become the first big showdown over press freedom during President Donald Trump’s second term.

As president, Trump will lack the power to directly waive the fine or potential jail time that Herridge faces, but he could order the Justice Department to settle an underlying lawsuit filed by the woman, Yanping Chen. Settling the suit would wipe away the fines and any other punishment against Herridge.

Last week, I bought a can of an unknown brand of "organic" chicken rice soup, and it was AWFUL!
I was really sick the next day.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of new organic foods from basically, unvetted companies.
It's weird to say goodbye to what I considered, my whole life, to be safe products.
I tried organic and gluten free years ago, bought an organic package of rice flour, opened it and a bunch of moths flew out.
So far, nothing even remotely like that has happened lately!
Sometimes, an organic product can be amazing, delicious.
I am hoping that we will see some major food companies wake up and realize that, if they don't want to go bankrupt, they should take the chemicals and poisons out of their foods.
Wouldn't that be nice?
