You, Lord, are the just judge of all the nations. You judged Your people Israel for their sins, and You will not do less with the Gentiles. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord! But if men forget God and persist down the path to destruction, we know there is a just God in Heaven to whom they must answer. Let us not think that our nation is exempt from Your judgments, O Lord, but let us seek real revival that You may bless us and not curse us, as a nation. Amen.

Well the only real downside is you will be deployed a lot. So depending on what you want for a home life, with kids, and a spouse… you need to be on the same page, or it won’t work out. In my 8 years of being in special operations units I was away from home 75–80% of the time.

On a self centric note: I personally loved it. I was always training or being deployed doing all the fun stuff I dreamed the military would be and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Even if it cost me a marriage.
