The Trump administration is being urged to cut government funding for “painful” and “pointless” animal experiments after it was revealed that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) spent $23 billion on animal testing last year.

Campaigners say that animal testing is inadequate and wasteful, and point out that 90 percent of basic research, most of which involves animals, fails to lead to effective treatment for humans. Alarmingly, 95 percent of new drugs that test safe and effective in animals later fail in humans.

Tests can also cause immeasurable pain and suffering to the animals experimented on.

Despite these concerns, the government-run NIH continues to spend billions of tax dollars on experiments every year....

Hi, friends! Have missed you. But because of new life circumstances and limited time, there's not a lot of time to post on all social media platforms. Here, it sometimes hard to share pictures, for example, because you have to save them first. (The others you just copy and paste, makes things go faster.)

Have been spending most of my social media time on X with another account (my Patriot Sam account was never reactivated). I'm over there at Samantha -- at SamShowedUp. Not much interaction at all, but that' okay. I like it there because that's where I get my news.

But anyway, on this eve of Election Day, or, as President Trump says, "Liberation Day," I just want to say how great it's been with you all on here since most of us were booted off Twitter a few years ago. I hope you all are doing well and are happy. I hope that after tomorrow, we will all be happy. :) But, no matter what the DS tries, GOD will help His man to step back officially into the White House.

God most certainly hears that prayer.

God, I want to have a pure heart. Please reveal to me the areas of my heart that are not in line with Your Word. Help me to let go of bitterness, disappointment, and hurt I am holding onto. I surrender my whole heart to You. Thank You for making me brand new! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
